The topic of agricultural microfinance is not new to this blog (a few months back, Seeds for Development, an interest-free seed lending program in Uganda, was reviewed. The poorest of the poor are involved in the agriculture sector (through subsistence farming) which makes it all the more important to provide development tools for people in this field.
